Parks W. Avery, Jr., CFP®
Parks is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ Professional who received his degree in finance from the University of Georgia. He is an active member of the Newnan Development Authority; and Chairman of the Newnan Convention Center Authority.
Parks works with each client to form solutions for his or her unique situation. Long-rage planning assists our families to balance risk tolerances, financial needs, and goals. Using a CFP® Professional to identify potential problems and needs early on allows us to discuss productive ways to identify and address those issues.
Parks lives in Newnan, Georgia, with his wife, Jo and their dog Roscoe. Parks and Jo have four grown children and four grandchildren. He is a long-distance road bicyclist and a faithful fan of the Atlanta Braves baseball team.
Kris holds FINRA Series 7, 63, and 65 securities registrations as an Investment Adviser Representative of Commonwealth Financial Network®, member FINRA/SIPC. He also has life and variable life annuity licenses. He attended Auburn University-Montgomery, on a baseball scholarship, where he earned a BS in finance. He is chairman of the local chapter of the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation and a member of the Lions Club.
Kris develops and maintains the unique portfolio solutions for our individual clients based on our one-on-one planning process. He is responsible for investment reviews, product research, investment product selection, assessing and monitoring the investment managers, and supervising our operations with our broker/dealer, Commonwealth Financial Network.
Kris lives in Newnan, Georgia, with his wife, Natachia, and their two children, Kaitlyn and Davis. He is an avid golfer and an enthusiastic fan of the Atlanta Braves baseball team and the Atlanta Falcons football team.
Jason Eaker, CFP®
Jason earned a BS from University of North Georgia and a MS from Georgia State University. He is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ Professional (CFP®) and a Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor™ (CRPC®). In addition, Jason holds FINRA Series 7 and 66 securities registrations and licenses for life, accident, sickness, and variable insurance products. He is an active member in his community serving on the Board for the Summit Family YMCA and Elevate Coweta Students and is a graduate of Leadership Coweta.
Jason is dedicated to slowing down and having deep discovery conversations with the families he works with. He believes his clients must fully understand what is truly important to them before he can. This valuable knowledge, which he refers to as their Statement of Financial Purpose, allows him to create custom financial plans that are intimate to them. Jason prides himself on thinking outside-the-box when designing these financial plans, which incorporate retirement, estate, insurance and tax planning, among others. He works tirelessly to continue to deliver massive value to his clients as they move through the stages of life.
Jason resides in Newnan, Georgia with his wife, Sarah, and their two sons and daughter: Chase, Jett, and Hannah. He enjoys cycling and all else outdoors.
Windy holds her property & casualty, and life, accident, & sickness licenses. She is actively involved within her community, participating in local 5K’s, serving at her church, and volunteering at her children’s schools.
She manages the property and office space, procurements, and information technology systems, including administration of the paperless office. She is responsible for familiarizing clients with the office's web-based services, including online account access. She schedules appointments for clients to meet with our team members, and she manages a comprehensive proprietary database that links the administrative, analytical, and reporting functions. As the point-of-contact with the large support staff at Commonwealth Financial Network®, she ensures the efficiency of communication and automation.
Windy resides in Newnan, Georgia, with her husband, Heath and their two children, Cotton and Belle. She enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, deep sea fishing, and going to the range.
Rhodes Shell, CFP®
Financial Advisor, Retired
Rhodes happily retired on 12/31/2021 after over 50 years of helping his clients in the financial services industry. Rhodes continues to be deeply involved in his community and continues to serve as a City of Newnan Council Member. He is enjoying his retirement with his family, riding bicycles, swimming, and tending to his orchids.
